Thank you for such clear article! What do you think about which kind of card (limit or rare?) can be a base for evaluation for a player? You mention that rare is 5x-10x to limit. But what if see that proportion is 3.5 (what i see now for some players), do you think it is a signal that rare card is undervalued or limit overvalued?

hi Tecomah, thanks for this insightful analysis. It seems that, like you, I am passionate about data analysis and like you I tried to tackle this very difficult question: in the first year of Sorare, I also proposed a breakdown of card’s value with the help of Soraredata, and got to very similar conclusions. This was presented in videos that are now offline but you can access them directly via the links below. I am no longer producing content directly related to sorare but if you want to exchange views let me know, I’d be happy to help (my discord is on the video link 👇)

On the baseball side, I will see a first year edition limited and a regular limited. However, it seems the regular limiteds are often priced higher, even when a rookie card is available as a first year limited. Why is this?

Hi, thanks for the very interesting analysis.

Due to the score calculations, is there a correlation between player position and performances in Sorare. Meaning : are CB better than RW, or CAM better than CDM... ?

hi, thanks for this relevant analysis. One element which is not mentioned is the season (year) of a card. Did you notice variations of prices depending of the season of the card ?

Also, did you notice a dropping price of cards when a new season set of cards is released ?
